Partner Manager, US
We are looking for an experienced Partner Manager, US to ignite and nurture partnerships by identifying and recruiting new partners for long-term success as well as manage ongoing relationships with key strategic partners, including managed services providers, professional services partners, resellers and technology vendors. Our ultimate goal is developing preferred partnerships that drive both customer adoption and new revenue. As a primary and secondary quota carrying individual, you will be part of the sales team. You will be focused on following a repeatable sales process to drive sales volumes in a business that is experiencing hyper growth in the application security space. You will have close contact with your sales colleagues, marketing counterparts and selected partners, executing day to day on opportunities.
Identify and recruit new strategic partners to drive revenue growth
Enable and activate existing partners through training, enablement and joint selling
Coordinate the technical and marketing aspects of integrated partnership launches
Host quarterly business reviews with partners to drive accountability and report on success metrics
Have weekly or regular operating conversations with your partners that drive pipeline creation and opportunity close
Work hand-in-hand with Secure Code Warrior’s regional enterprise sales organization
5+ years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales at a cloud services or software as a service organization
Proven experience in driving sales opportunities from lead generation to closure, effectively negotiating agreements and building long-lasting partnerships
You are curious and a continuous learner. You thrive on learning the products you sell and understanding the value they deliver and are able to effectively demonstrate to customers and partners.
Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and architectural scenarios, and explain them to others verbally and in writing
Extensive experience in partner management, business development, product management
Directly sold, supported, or marketed to clients and partners in your regions
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audience
Experience leading teams and driving cross-functional execution
Experience with systems management or monitoring
Experience with partnerships supporting App Sec and DevOps, particularly in a cloud environment is desirable
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for taking initiatives from ideation to impact
Passion for fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable growth culture and environment
Experience in identifying market opportunities with a track record of initiating go-to-market plans and sales follow-through
Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time
